| Mary Kuhr has had art in her heart since a small child. Pencil and paper in hand, off she went to galleries and museums to study in her formative years. When art is in the heart, there is nothing that can take it out. It has to be expressed, and so it has been for her, throughout the years, in many forms. Like so many artists, life interrupts the pathway to expression, but it always resumes, somewhere along the way, and that is true for Mary, as well. A Scottsdale, Arizona resident for almost 30 years, the desert has inspired her creative abilities, fostering the God given talent in many diverse landscapes and rampant varieties of color which explode in the desert. But desert she is not limited to, only using it as a reference point not be bashful, because it is not. It is to the Glory of God, that Mary pursues finding those "Perfect Places" to spend time with Him. |
