| Lilly was introduced to oil painting after suffering a severe heart attack over 25 years ago. It quickly became her form of relaxation and therapy. She has studied and taken workshops under some marvelous teachers who have guided her well. Among these are Barbara Bond, Joanna Hensley, Bonnie Casey, Ernie Wallace, and Maureen Anderson. They have all been instrumental in helping her develop her own technique- using both palette knife and brush. Her paintings reflect her love for color and vibrancy in life. She also enjoys working with pastels. |
